I should have been warned that allowing popups whilst typing an LJ entry causes the browser to wipe out wotever u'd typed. I realised how complicated my IE7 browser hath becometh, because of all the confusing add-ons and take-offs, it's making my blog postings a horrifying time when I shakily press the 'publish' button. For Blogger, I have to copy the entire chunk prior, and now, I know it's not amenable to any changes during LJ writing. Gah.
What was I writing previously? Hmmmmm.
Anyhow, I was probably musing about how it was weird to be back on LJ soil, especially since my circle of friends are completely not on this side of the blogosphere. Still, I think it's interesting since I get to write and squee on my lifelong addiction of anime and manga, and I heart the communities I joined. Whatever the case, it won't be the first when I write for complete strangers anyway.
It's the Uni holidays, so I'm thankful for that. With the Winter Camp promptly behind me, the holidays feel like they hath only just begun. Camps are always fun, but as I grow older, I just don't have that 'bouncy, wanna-get-to-know-10-people-at-least, super gungho' attitude anymore. It's not that I no longer appreciate humour and fun, but I was a different entity in camps which I used to attend in Singapore. Nooo, still not your 'bouncing-off-the-walls' type, but I was noisier, more irritating, and enjoyed taking lots of pictures as though doomsday was near. Haha.
The electricity went out for hours and I was highly frustrated. No thanks to a super megastorm in the morning which must have knocked it out. I was beginning to take out candles and portable lights etc when it came back, but it blew my room's lightbulb in the process. Thanks again! 1 more expenditure. Whee.
A checklist of what I need to do this week:
1) Return library books
2) Pick up Ben's parcel from post office -yay! My Newtype is here!-
3) Top up my calling credits
4) Grocery-shopping -very belated-
5) Buy birthday cards for Yiwen & Ben
6) Call up Serena to wish her happy belated birthday. Oops.
7) Check out Empire Toys -I'm such a dork. Andrew had to draw me a map-
Well, that's really about it. Without broadband returning, there's at least a window of opportunity for me to catch up with Real Life. Hoho.
