Bernie Mac passed away yesterday. I cried for at least an hour when I heard the news and again today I cried when I heard the story of how it all ended and his last moments with his wife and daughter. He was a brillant and talented man, oh so very funny and I will miss him deeply.
Issac Hayes passed away today. He apparently died of a heart attack while exercising being that he was found lying on the floor in his basement next to a running treadmill.
It is a bit bizarre that they passed away within hours of each other because they just finished filming the same movie "soul men" and they were very good friends. Also, the episode of the Bernie Mac show with Issac Hayes as a guest just showed two nights ago. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. The universe is out to get us all I guess.
