はあ。

私の新しい「主人」ですか?

(Huh.

Are you my new husband?)

[Seeing his incomprehension, she picks up a framed photo from the counter, showing the two of them from their prom night back in high school. Not that it happened, of course, but they sure look happy together. She shows it to Greece.]

これ、分かる?

(Do you understand?)

Ahh...Japan never taught me these words.

[he looks down at the photo, fairly confused by their funny clothes but seems to understand what she's saying]

Yes, that! We're family now? [frowns a moment and then points at himself in the picture]

[he nods, although he still thinks his name sounds kind of funny in Japanese]

はじめまして!

If I practice my Japanese a lot, I can talk to Japan when I get home.

[listens intently to her introduction] Fuji...wara. No. Mo-ko-u. Mokou?

[scratches his head a bit] Why can't anyone speak Greek anymore, I wonder.

Ah, that's right. I can say some more.

日本は...ギリシャ ともだち.

[frowns. That was awkward even for him, but he hooks his index fingers together] Good relationship.
