Happy Love-Love Day. I was going to fill this rotation with mushy, romantic Japanese songs, but then I remembered I'm me.
Do read the format and instructions before downloading, and please remember to comment if you're downloading or if you'd just like to hear more from a certain artist. If you come across any broken links or corrupted zip files, I'd appreciate it if you'd drop me a notice.

Rotation for 02.14.05
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION - Kimi to Iu Hana[ Kimi Tsunagi Five M // 6:10 // 8.4 ]
Comments: Pretty much anything AKFG produces is an eargasm to me, but this song is one of my favorites. As always, great vocals from Masafumi, accompanied by very catchy guitar rifts.
Bump of Chicken - Holiday[ Snow Smile // 3:26 // 3.9 ]
Comments: A pleasant, mellow J-rock song from four adorable boys that really need to be fed. Seriously. Send them a hamburger.
Cibo Matto - Moonchild[ Stereo Type A // 5:13 // 4.7 ]
Comments: Technically I think Cibo Matto would be considered an American, New York based duo, even though they're Asian. This is an easy-listening English, pop-esque tune with a combination of a few styles of music.
Gazette - Ruder[ Madara // 3:14 // 4.4 ]
Comments: Angry music. Very angry music. Still, for some reason I can't stop listening to it. Ruki's vocals screams have a unique quality.
GLAY - Nantou fuu[ THE FRUSTRATED // 5:20 // 7.3 ]
Comments: Come on. It's GLAY. By some universal law of existence, you have to like it. I will say this, though. If you only get one song from this week's rotation, make sure it's this one. Nantou fuu is not only my favorite track from the boys, but also one of my most favorite songs period. It's so catchy and fun to sing along with; I find myself humming it during the day without realizing.
Janne Da Arc - kasumiyuku sora se ni shite[ ANOTHER STORY // 3:38 // 4.9 ]
Comments: There should be more Janne Da Arc love in the world. Cute J-rock guys that like to make-out on stage? Count me in! Oh, and the music is fan-fucking-tastic, too.
Love Psychedelico - Last Smile[ Last Smile // 5:45 // 5.2 ]
Comments: This song is very addictive, and with good reason. Troubled lyrics, random spurts of Engrish, unique female vocals, and accoustic guitars. Rei likey.
LUNA SEA - Providence[ Eden // 3:08 // 3.6 ]
Comments: I have a theory that Ryuichi went through puberty backwards. Instead of dropping, his testicles ran upwards. LUNA SEA's older stuff, such as this track, features lower, more masculine vocals. Whereas the newer tracks, like 4:00 AM, would make you swear he's a woman. With that aside, Providence is a typical LA track, and therefore hump-worthy. Airy vocals, violin, accoustic guitar, and a dainty little glockenspiel all give this song a melancholy feel.
Pierrot - Follower[ Private Enemy // 3:46 // 4.3 ]
Comments: Kirito likes to tickle my morbid fancy. Follower is actually a song about the Ohm Shinrikyou, a Japanese cult that succeeded in a mass poisoning on a subway. The song itself doesn't disappoint music-wise, as it's the usual Pierrot level of kick-ass-ness.
The Yellow Monkey - Kyuukon[ PUNCH DRUNKARD // 5:36 // 7.6 ]
Comments: This song makes me sad, but it's a good type of sad [wtf?]. When the chorus kicks in, it errupts in a Wonder Twin activation of awesomeness, releasing the track's true power from within.
Bi - Nan[ It's Raining // 3:19 // 4.5 ]
