So, Viva Piñata: Party Animals. The demo popped up on XBox Live... last week I think it was. I saw it and figured, what the hell and downloaded it. I had a feeling when I did that it was just Microsoft attempting to come up with something to compete with Nintendo's Mario Party games (which I've never played and really don't want to) But this was free, and I figured if I could be the horse piñata with Dan Green's voice, bonus.

For the record, in the demo you get to be the horse piñata with Dan Green's voice. So: win! XD (every time I see that thing now all I ever think of is that video LK made with the audio from the Viva Piñata commercial and the video from YGO. And then I proceed to laugh my ass off. "I am a magical piñata...." XD) There's also that bear one that has a really familiar sounding voice but I'm not sure which one of 4Kids' six voice actors it is (I swear, the amount triple duty those guys seem to do, within the same show even, they must only have six actors)

Anyway, point, the game itself. There's these little racing stages, which are kinda like a weak-ass version of Mario Kart. And those are really fun. If they just went and made Viva Piñata Racing or something, I might actually consider buying it... If it were like, really cheap. Because that was actually enjoyable. The actual mini-games that make up the bulk of it were really lame and bad and not all that fun. Maybe it's more fun if you're actually playing against people, I dunno. I just wanted to play more racing stages.

.....and then I went back to playing Oblivion. Like I have been for about a month straight now. At least. (I'm almost through the Thieves Guild! Yay! My GOD that last quest is hard >_<)

gamebabble: oblivion, gamebabble: viva pinata
