(no subject)
Things Immi has watched thus far tonight:
The first two episodes of S1 of NCIS (since I finally bothered to swipe the DVD set from my mother) Which resulted in a lot of squeaking of "Eeeee! Abby! DiNozzo! Ducky!!! ♥" and "D'awwwww! Gibbs you seekrit softie, you!" (although I'm finding myself missing McGee. When does he come in? He's just so squishy and adorable.)
The fansubbed episode 2 of Death Note. Which (as this series tends to) hit me like a punch in the stomach. Light is such a creepy bastard.
And, the raw for episode 79 of Eyeshield. Which equates to chapters 154 & 155 of the manga. Which I reread earlier in the week so if I may squeak for a bit:
Oh. Oh!!!! I was so worried they would screw this up. Sena letting Mamori know about his being Eyeshield is probably one of my second favourite parts (which, I think I have a ton of since it's impossible to pick when it comes to this damn series) after everything involving Musashi which, as we all know, is already terribly screwed up beyond all recognition in the anime. But, as far as I can tell without a translation, it actually looked.... Right. Enough to make me squeak. Loudly. And a lot.
-- the team introductions! Ahhhh! So cute! I didn't think it was possible for that part to get any cuter but it was. Kurita running onto the field was just awkward and adorable. And my boys! Who are all introduced individually (which I was flailing about over anyway because they're my boys) and then collectively as the "Hah Hah Brothers" resulting in the usual "We're not brothers!" thing and .... Ahhhhh! I squeed. ♥ I just wish Musashi was around (like he's supposed to be) because his casually saying "It's a lie" over being called the "60 yard magnum" was another of my favourite bits.
-- Sena. Oh, Sena you kill me ded sometimes. And this is really one of those times. When he gets on to the field and it's quiet for a moment until Suzuna yells his name and then the crowd just goes wild. And they show a few of the previous teams they'd faced watching. Including the NASA Aliens which resulted in a massive squeal of joy from me, because I miss those boys. So. Much. Eeee! Homer! Panther! D'awww! ♥
-- Mamori's moment of weakness. Ah! There are no words. There are really no words. I just... Gah. *falls over in a wibbling heap*
-- also, I was finally able to see what jersey number Yamaoka has. Score! (is it sad that I know the number of every single DevilBat? ^^;;)
