gaming! (and also TV I've been watching)
I'm playing around in Fallout 3 (while waiting for New Vegas to show up XD) and generally being ridiculous because look at my new character, okay? :D :D :D
his name is Jamie XD .....no I can't spin the camera around to cap his face *sad*
Of course, I'm currently just running around shooting innocent people in the head, which I usually don't do..... I have yet to make an evil character even though there's achievements for it. I am just too inclined to do good in these sandbox games. No matter how many characters I make, I always play the same. Which is probably why I get bored. XD But this is just to tide me over until New Vegas. I hope I can find a proper douchehawk in there
Also, Warcraft. Because I am SO HAPPY about this
This little bastard surprisingly only took me about forty minutes of farming. Which given the 1 in 1000 drop rate is pretty fucking amazing. I've tried to get it before but usually don't have the patience to farm very long. As evidenced by the fact that I tried to get the Emerald one next and immediately gave up within five minutes. XD (okay, where the Emerald one drops is a super pain in the ass though, because it's this tiny little area and you can't even do one of those giant loops where by the time you've worked your way to one end the mobs back where you started have started to respawn. It's horrible.) I'd like to get all four of them before Cataclysm (okay, technically before the world goes boom and god knows when that is actually going to happen. December 7 is Cata's release but the leadup is already happening so who knows when things are actually going to go down) Because I get the feeling after that there will no longer be any whelps to kill for cute pet drops. I know for a fact the mobs the Azure one drops off of vanish. Which is why I'm glad I got that one. And I really should be farming for at least that black one because it is so cute (and the Badlands is another area that I know gets fucked up for sure) but I get so bored while farming and go nuts because I can't read or crochet while doing it which are generally my favourite time killers. I need to like, move things around so I can watch TV out of the corner of my eye while I farm or something.
Sims 3! The new expansion, the one with the vampires and the dive bars that I am so excited about? It apparently comes out tomorrow in the states. And once again is not listed on any Canadian site. The last one had a delay of a goddamn month between it coming out in the states and it coming out in Canada (which resulted in me ordering it from the American Amazon site) I'm not even fucking around waiting for it to show up on the Canadian sites this time, I ordered it straight out of the states. Honestly, this is bullshit. Why is this the only game that does not have a universal release date between the US and Canada? (things that make me laugh forever: "Na Na Na" is in it. It barely sounds different, even in Simlish. XD XD XD)
TV: holy shit I finally got around to watching season 6 of NCIS. THAT SHOW CONTINUES TO BE CUTE FOREVER! MY TEAM! I LOVE MY TEAM DYNAMICS! ♥ It was the season that had the "let's make a spinoff in the form of NCIS: LA" two-parter in it. Which... eh. I borrowed my mom's copy of the first season of NCIS: LA to check it out. (I also borrowed S7 of NCIS because once again the last season ended in a flail-inducing cliffhanger, ugh I love that stupid adorable show forever) But so far the only thing about NCIS: LA that amused me was the fact that it sounded like Chris O'Donnell's character was named "Kallen" ....which looking at the back of the box, it's close. It's "Callen".... but as a last name. Which isn't quite as funny. BUT STILL FUNNY! I don't think he is a total crazyface though. And I still don't know about that show. I've only seen the crossover/startup episode so far and nobody really grabbed me save for the psychologist guy. Also it seemed to be trying way too hard to be cool and edgy or something with the epic computer setup in the incredibly shitty building. It reminded me of Fastlane (mostly because the brother just picked up Fastlane on DVD, ahahaha, that show was ridiculous XD) I get the feeling I will continue to prefer original recipe NCIS.
