Home too late to watch the stream, which is really no big.
However. A couple images from the first chapter of the 5Ds manga here (scroll about halfway down the page.... ahahahaha. And on the next page there's screencaps from tonight's episode anyway so I guess I got something... I'll get to those in a minute)
The thing about the couple manga images that interest me most is Yusei's marker. Because as we all know, at the start of the series he didn't have it but presuming this is going to be anything like the GX manga, it's going to be a completely different animal. Same characters, same general setting, but possibly completely reimagined.
Anyway, what interests me most, mostly because there wasn't much to see, is the fact that Yusei's got his marker right off the top. Which I'm hoping means he has a shiny new backstory (just like Judai got a shiny new backstory) that involves getting his ass arrested. Please, manga, don't just go lazily implying that some stuff from the anime happened. Cause that'd suck and be lame.
Moving on, the episode. Half assed observations made on the screencaps.....
WHY DOES AKI LOOK LIKE SHE'S WEARING LIP GLOSS ON THE CLOSE-UPS!? Aki and Sherry both, really. Also, I think I ship this threesome because they all look like they want to stop dueling and just fuck in the middle of the highway.

SHERRY'S PARENTS WERE MURDERED WHEN SHE WAS A WEE THING AND SHE WAS SAVED BY THE EPIC SIDEBURN GUY FROM LAST EPISODE (who I think was their butler or something because they were totally loaded) SHE IS SO A GIRL!EDO. TOTALLY. ....although for that to really be so, it will have to be later revealed that epic sideburn guy is the one who killed her parents. Because you can never have enough childhood trauma. In YGO, simply being a Sad Little Orphan isn't enough, because god knows Sad Little Orphans are a dime a dozen.
WTF!? WHY IS THERE RANDOM NAKED YUSEI? AND NAKED SHERRY!? I TOLD YOU THEY ALL WANTED TO STOP DUELING AND FUCK!
So it looks like the duel was a non finish. Also, it looks like Aki was co-dueling for a while there. Eee! Psychic dueling on motorcycles! =D
