About "Perseverance" - Updated October 12
Because I received such a nice guest review on one of my Batman stories on FF.net and don't know how else to reply... Miri-chan, where are you? :) Thank you so much for reaching out to me!
Don't fear, "Perseverance" is not abandoned! The sixth and final chapter is almost finished, and I think the epilogue has been written for about a year now... *hangs head in shame* Once I've plugged the holes in chapter 6 and my brave beta has gone over the whole story once more (icywaters86, you up for it? ;-) ), I'll post the story again and replace or delete the previous version I started posting here quite a while ago.
This story will be the longest one I've written so far. I started writing it right after seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" for the first time, more than three years ago. I hit writer's block when my dear friend and beta at the time, Karen, died. icywaters86 generously picked up the mantle and has been my source of inspiration, encouragement and much needed butt kicking ever since (thank you!).
I hope to be able the post the completed story by Christmas (yes, I know I said that last year, too). Hopefully, I will make it this year. Real life has this annoying habit of interrupting my writing life. And I really want to get this story right.

I've agonized over this fic for so long that it feels like forever...but it will get finished! I'm participating in Mini NaNoWriMo this year which should help immensely. :)
