Oh, cool. Jack will never let Daniel live it down that C4 was the right solution! :D

I am so intrigued: if the ration bars are back in Sam's pack, are they all suddenly starving?

Well, I think the loop reset everything, even their stomachs. They only started to eat after their more extensive exploration of the room. Then they went through the doorway again - and poof, they were back at the beginning. Maybe. Time travel is not my forte, lol.
