Character: Dio Eraclea
Series: Last Exile
Character Age: 17
Canon: On a planet named Prester, two countries wage war. A young Vanship (basically, a small aicraft) pilot named Claus gets pulled into the middle of this conflict, winding up on a mission with a neutral battleship called the Silvana. Add one small child wrapped in as much mystery as an item known as Exile - something that everybody wants to get their hands on, and you have the story of Last Exile. Prester is run by a law-enforcing organization called the Guild, led by Maestro Delphine -- elder sister of one Dio Eraclea.

Very much unlike his sister (and most of the Guild in general), Dio seems to treat everything like a game, acting very playful and childish. He does things such as hang off the side of the ship to try and touch clouds (oblivious to the possibility of falling off), and teach his beloved friend Luciola the right facial expressions to make for his emotions. When he meets Claus, he becomes a bit obsessed with him and his piloting skills, to the point of following him back to the Silvana and joining in on their quest. For a seemingly simple boy who enjoys draping on people, singing, and talking about corpses, he's actually a very skilled pilot with a sharp strategic mind.

Ahh, I've finally found people in Camp Fuck You Die who can talk! I thought the only people here other than me were the ones who were just saying "braaaaains" and "the gaaaaaame." I don't know what kind of game they meant, since they kept saying I lost it, but they were boring! And so was the game since it didn't go any further than that. But that doesn't matter now, because I have a much better game to play! And I'm not the only one who thinks that it's much better, either~ look how many people followed me here! And they're not only interested in my brain because they're hungry, but because my ideas are that fun. You too, you want to play, don't you? Follow me!

This hospital roof is the best place to make paper Vanships! Not only so yours will fly high and far-- whooosh! But because when you feel the wind hit you, you'll feel like you're flying with it, it's the best feeling ever! Here, here, I'll make a circle all the way over there, and you try to make yours fly far enough to land inside of it. See? Not only easy, but easy and fun! I'll even help you braaaaains people make yours, they won't fly right if they're covered in blood... and using your hands to wipe them won't help either, papercuts make you bleed on them even more, you know! You just fold them heeeere, and heeeeeere... there! Now--

No no, it doesn't go there, braiiiins person #4. Or there. It's supposed to go in the circle, the circle! Ha ha, some of you are really perverted, you know? But my finger wasn't pointing to his pants, or your mouth, and papercuts in either of those places wouldn't be very fun. So pay better attention! That's also an important part of this "feel like you're really flying" game. Now ready... aim... TOOOOSS!

Whoops! That throw was a little too hard there, braiiiins person #2. But at least you weren't aiming for anybody's eye like braiiiins person #5 was. Now you have to go all the way downstairs to get your paper Vanship back! What? No, noo, just because I said that this makes you feel like you're flying doesn't mean you can. So put your arm down - even if you could fly with those, you'd need two of them anyway, trying to fly off of the roof is...

...

Haha! Well, I guess I was wrong! If you look at it this way, he really did just lose the game!
