L, as usual, was perched in front of the television screens. Though his eyes never seemed to move he managed to take in every screen.
It wouldn't be too long until he carried out his plan to bring Misa back in. For now though he was content to watch and wait. And learn as much as he could about the Shinigami. His questions were never answered, but then he never expected them to be. Reactions were often the important part, of course it was hard to interpret the reactions of the creatures, but he felt this was important to understanding the Death Note.
He reached over for a chocolate bar as he focused on the surveillance, putting the rest out of his mind for now.
