(no subject)
Yesterday I got home from Happening #98 reunion. it went pretty good. Savanah was a secret small family leader, so I wrote her lots of notes. she said they were really funny. I don’t remember what all I wrote, cuz I was like half asleep. also, we accomplished our goal!! we stole the bell. Andrew went over and got it, and then he came back (we video taped the whole thing) and then he called Paul smith (rector) and told him. I felt bad for Paul, but it was awesome! on top of savanah’s broken foot, she some how got pink eye, and wore a medicine patch on it, then realized she was allergic to something in the medicine. this weekend was just not her weekend. everyone was so surprised that she still came and did everything. I think she has a good chance at being rector now. if so, she says im going to be her ‘big sis’, even though im younger than her (that’s ok!). jazz was there. nothing excited to say about him except that I don’t really like him anymore. he tries to take over everything, and thinks he’s funny, but he’s not!! I got to talk and get to know John Rogers a little. he goes to Mac and I’ve never talked to him, but ill be sure to hug him in the hallways now!! I found out that Lauren rigsby and john are going out. they are soooo cute together!! also, more exciting news…kim rogers and travis pope are going out. I didn’t know what to do when I heard. exciting news for me: there was a cute guy at reunion. his name is Nick Wong, and he is going to be a freshman at UT. he looks like tim o. its crazy. I got to talk to him a little. I first started to like him on sat. night, when he sat next to me in church. then he sat next to me during the service on Sunday for the happeners. when we sang slow songs, I got to put my arm around him. aww. ok that’s enough of that!
so before I went to reunion, we went down to port aransas for a vacation. Justin’s family was there too. it was cool, but they were at a different hotel, about 10 mins away. we got together with them on Thursday night and played Uno all night. it was fun. our hotel, port royal, was really nice. we had a one bedroom and then we had a fold out bed, and then Stephen slept on the air mattress. this hotel is known for having the biggest pool in Texas. it was huge! it had bars in it and a restaurant. it was, on the upper level, a big slide that hurt like heck when you went down it. you like ram into the side of it. it was fun though. then, right by the pool, is a boardwalk that leads right to the beach. we spent some time there. Stephen found about 20 whole sand dollars. that was cool, except we killed all of them, and now they are on our back porch. also, before we left, I remembered that erik twist had these cool sandals and said he got them in port a. I emailed him asking if he remembered the name of the store, and he didn’t, but he gave me directions. they weren’t really correct, but I still found the store, and I’m wearing the sandals as I type!! they are rope sandals, and they are so comfortable.
on Monday night, I spent the night at savanah’s. the whole reason was so we could go to HEB and I wrap up my foot so it looked like I hurt it so I could ride one of the motorized scooters. we did it all, but when I finally found her on my scooter in the store, everyone was starring at us, plus David (her mom’s bf) saw what we were doing and I was afraid we were going to get in trouble. so yes, I chickened out! but hey, I still did it, even if it was for a few mins!! before going to HEB, we went to blockbuster and got some movies for the night. I didn’t have my mom’s card, and so he had to call her to ask if I could rent them. I swear he was flirting with me, and Savanah thought so too. he was really cute!! on the way home from HEB, we stopped at blockbuster again, and I told savanah to go talk to him for me, but she wouldn’t, so josh said he would. he went in and found him in the racks. he went right up to him and said ‘my friend that was in her a little while ago in the green shirt thought you were cute.’ all Brian (the guy) said was ‘she thinks I’m cute?…cool!’ it was the funniest thing when josh told us about it afterwards. then, the next day we took back the movies and I saw him through the window when I was putting the movies in the drop box thing. it was awesome. ill go back soon!
