The good, the bad, and some tmi

So my weekend was wonderful. I got to hang out with my Kit and my Kef and get a repeat of Friday's concert. It was the last show that Guster and The Format were playing together, and it was very much at a Christian college. We arrived a few minutes late to The Format, and I swear the majority of the kids were standing like they would in a church balcony, straight and proud with their hands clasped in front of them. It was pretty sad. So I in my puchuu hat jumped on in the middle of them and started rocking out and singing along like any good fan of the faith would do. Kef and I managed to push up to the front row for Guster with all the other fangirls, so we felt a bit more at home for that half. The atmosphere and energy wasn't nearly as high as it was here at FU, but I had good company, good music, remembered my camera, and had an all around amazing time.

MIKE IS HOT!

So that was the good! But then as soon as my back home buddies left, things didn't so much go downhill as they went over a small cliff. I wrote six pages of a critical book review for sociology on a book that I never finished. I spent half an hour looking at maps online wile my friend had a panic attack over the phone. I had a pressing headache (which still hasn't gone away completely). I had no more than three hours of sleep. I woke up with my paper still incomplete, unedited, and due in class. I got a nosebleed, AND I started my period ALL WITHIN AN EIGHT HOUR SPAN ON MONDAY "MORNING."

At least I got the paper done and turned in and skipped my design class to take a two hour nap. I feel much better now.
