Okay!
So. This is me attempting to actually use this lj thing again and let all you uncaring people out there know about my day/week/month/term/whatever.
I just finished my week long "spring" break in February. There was snow and everything. Vaguely inappropriate, yes? But now it's over and I'm back at school for my spring term.
Last term went by pretty well, despite the fact that I was overloading. I had twice as many classes as most people, and yet I only got 4 more credit hours for it. Doesn't seem right, but that's what I get for being an art major. Speaking of, SEE MY FAVORITE PROJECTS FROM MY PRINTMAKING CLASS!

And my pet lizard is the best final project ever!
It was a screen printing class, like what they do for t-shirts, and I do actually have a couple fabric inks that I picked up by accident. I was tempted to use them and make a Gurren Lagann t-shirt or something, but I never got motivated enough.
Naked people figure drawing was my other art class. Felt great to be doing studio art again, figure drawing in particular. I guess I could upload some of those pics too, if anyone were interested. Put up something other than fanart for once? ^^;
So, as for now and this term, I'm overloading again. I'll be taking advertising design, world history, art history, and I'll finally be getting credit for living in the Japanese language house all year (for those who don't know, I live with a Japanese grad student and am supposed to speak the language all the time, but it's so inconvenient, so I kinda don't....).
And in 2 weeks I'll be heading over to Momocon!! There, I'll be debuting my Nice Holystone cosplay ♥ as well as wearing Kozue from Utena and possibly WJC!Takada (assuming there's still a WJC group planned) and FMA's Lust (assuming I can contact Jason and make him bring his Greed outfit). Gladly, I'm finished making all of my outfits for this con, though I do have to pull some soul reaper robes from somewhere for a friend of mine who wants to be Rukia. I'll make it work, and I'll take lots of pictures. XD;;
