2. Today is a good day.
First of all, hello to the two of you who joined me from the CL_DN friending meme. Please enjoy your stay. If you have any questions for/about me, feel free to ask.
Secondly, today is a really super awesome day. I went to visit my old high school this morning with the intention of saying hello to a couple teachers and showing my figure drawing portfolio to my old art teacher. I came away $185 richer. Some of the teachers from the English department (including Mrs. Vaughn, the best English teacher to ever teach English, and whose opinion I value above any other non-artistically inclined person's opinion) caught wind of my stuff, fought over some of it, and actually bought a bit of it! :D I've never really sold any of my art before, so this came as a super amazing surprise and was totally out of the blue (must have been the blue wig I was wearing that did it). A couple of them are even planning on commissioning me to do some more personal stuff. Yaaay I have convention and cosplay money!
Lastly,
5 minute drawing on a butcher paper tablecloth at a fancy restaurant. XD; I ripped it out as I left. I mean, they throw the paper away after each group leaves, and I didn't want Jade to go to waste! He is so the main character of Tales of the Abyss.
Another 5 minute sketch. I figure I'll get the messy ones out of the way. Nice from Baccano!.
I love the names in Baccano!. Nice and Jacuzzi. I'm definitely going to cosplay Nice one of these days. Her outfit is similar to stuff I already own, and I have lots of practice with making scars from dressing up as Mello.
I haven't drawn FMA fanart in forever, but with the inclusion of Chris Patton (Greed) to the AWA guest list, I felt compelled. Cheers for the Devil's Nest. Now I should do Havoc, Riza, Dante, and Ed in celebration of all the other VAs coming. XD
