Yamashita Tomohisa kun with the pet name of Yamapi, gives off a mature aura lately and is getting more and more manly. However after analysing, I realised that he is still very pure and innocent.
"During elementary and middle school, I can easily fall in love with girls at first sight, and also all of them are girls of great popularity in class. Another thing that remains unchanged from last time is wanting to do something for the girl that you like. At school when I was the duty person in charge of distributing the lunch boxes, I would specially bring some to her. Maa, I will only be like that towards the girl I like, in any case, I really want to present myself well."
However after I've grown big, I won't fall in love at first sight anymore.
"There are still times when I feel that the girl is cute, but at the start you don't know her character and so on yet right? So at this kind of times I won't fall in love or like. However if the girl I like or my girlfriend tells me to go out suddenly or within a short notice, no matter how tired I am, I will definitely go. My feeling of wanting to do something for the other party has never changed from before. Of course other than the times when I'm at work, but it is impossible to give the girlfriend happiness if I don't work."
Then what are your demands towards your girlfriend that are a must.
"Firstly, she need to have manners, I feel that greetings, words and actions are very important. I also hope that she can cook. For example when we are alone and we get hungry, I don't wish for my girlfriend to tell me things like wanting to eat xxx ne, If that happens, I will reply "I'm not hungry yet" oh (laughs). Also it maybe my own personal problem, but I don't want her to dress up till it's too revealing ne, it's even better if she wears a matching shorts underneath her skirt."
This kind of Yamashita kun is currently starring in the television drama 《ＣＯＤＥ ＢＬＵＥ》, The role that he acts, is the same as Yamashita kun doing his best no matter what for the girl he likes, Aizawa Kousaku who is a trainee flight doctor, a front line job in the emergency department.

"Lately I can converse with the director and other casts. Last time, it used to be hard for me to start a conversation with someone of older age than me, could it be that I became more conscious of myself because I've grown up?"
