'ello poppets! ;-) tis another day. im still sleepy, need to wake up. i almost feel asleep driving here, especially at stoplights. that would have been bad...im eating a chickfila biscuit and hashbrowns right now. yummy yummy. Oh, I called carowinds yesterday to try to get tickets for the relient k concert. guess what? if u dont have a group of 10 or more, you have to drive allll the way out there and purchase them. (anybody wanna help me form a group of 10? :-P) or u can buy them online for an extra cost of $7 a ticket off of ticketmaster! what a rip-off! the ticket already costs $15, cuz i have a season pass.
Our softball game last night went really well. we only played 3 1/2 innings, because in this league, if you are home team after 3 1/2, or visitor after 4, and you are 12 or more pts. ahead, u stop. it was 17 to 5. so we stopped. One interesting thing we did, was since there were 2 games played on the field we were on, we had no lights, and had to finish before dark, to shorten the games we all came to the plate with a 1 and 1 count. so we really only got 2 strikes and 3 balls. it was actually sorta fun. we went thru our whole batting order 3 times in 3 innings. thats pretty good. we have a 10 batter limit per inning, and we had 10 players. i was so happy because i got on base every time. i have been having trouble this past season with dropping my shoulder and hitting the ball up, which of course makes it easy to catch. last night i hit line drives up center field. i was really happy. it was weird, cuz coach had me playing outfield after he told me he wanted me to be catcher...i was rather unhappy about that. we have some really good girls/ladies on our team.
I'm going to POPS at southpark tomorrow for the patriotic concert! YAY! im excited. anyone else going?
I've got a diving class today, so i better go and start reading my dive book...bye guys <3 sarah
