Oh...my...gods
Wow.
So yesterday, I went shopping, because I basically had one pair of pants in my possession. I went and bought a pair of jeans, a pair of black pants with silver pin-striping, and some grey capri sweats.
Though it was chilly today, I decided to wear the capri sweats. Guess what? Good call, that's what. When I got to work at 9:00, three kids were vomiting. Throughout the day, several more kids fell victim to whatever gastro is going around...stomach flu, whatever it is. After nap, my class went for snack. Uneventful. Then, when we were waiting to go upstairs, I heard a terrible noise behind me. A vomity noise. One of my kids barfed. My class were standing pretty close together, so two other kids got vomit on them. I went to the kids side, and he did it again. It splashed onto my legs and my shoes. Since I was wearing the capris, it only hit my bare skin. Gross, but good, because otherwise I would have been stuck in barfy pants until I went home. Also, my shoes are just ugly old crocs, so I was able to wash them off easily.
Whew. I also almost burned my fingers today, and did burn my hand in a separate incident. Oh, and my mom trimmed my hair for me, and managed to snag my eyebrow piercing with the comb. She then tugged hard, thinking she'd hit a knot. Oh, the pain. I was surprised to see there was no damage, though. Man, it hurt.
I was going to write this evening, but decided to play MarioKart Wii instead. I have a lot of unfinished fics lying around, including two separate installments in my pirate AU, a fic titled 'Sakura's Luck' I've been dying to get to, a Touya/Yukito fic connected to 'Sakura's Luck', an Ichigo and Ishida fic, and more. There aren't enough hours in the day. I'm happy I was able to finish and post 'First Day' this week, the Touya/Yukito set in my high school AU. I had that lying around for awhile too.
