From a student email, after a class on virtue ethics and Aristotle:
I am a junior and psychology major and some may say that it is very hard to catch and keep my attention, but I have to tell you that today's lecture was, no doubt, the most inspirational class I have ever attended and I wanted to say thanks!
Funny thing is, I didn't think I did very well today. I felt rushed, disorganized and a little unclear. I guess sometimes my self-evaluations don't always match up with what my students think. Of course, that's a mixed blessing.
