I'm in Ohio right now and having a better time than I expected. I'm getting to relax a lot, but I've also gotten to spend a good amount of time with my dad.
Tomorrow both my dad and Cheryl have to work all day though, so I'm going to sleep in, go out to lunch with Dad during his lunch break, and then they're letting me take the car. So I'm definitely heading over to the Polaris Mall (HUGE mall with absolutely everything in it. Think Prov. Place but bigger...). I'm definitely excited for that.
So tonight I went to youth group at my dad's church. It was so fun. I loved it because it was all about faith without having making us feel like we were being talked down or preached to. And the worship part of the night was all music; they have a live band that's made up of 3 college students, and it was just like a Christian rock concert. Now if we had a church like this near us, I would totally go. And I made a few awesome friends too. I'm kinda sad I'll be leaving so soon! But the girl that I hung out with the most, Stephanie, was really nice. And they actually all invited me to go with them on the mission they're going on this summer. I even talked to Pastor Mark (the youth pastor) about it and he's so excited that I'm interested. I'm definitely tempted to go. Who wouldn't want to spend two weeks in Guatemala helping hurricane victims all the while getting to spend time with really awesome people?
Well, I'm going to go watch some TV, maybe do some more reading.
