It's been a while...

...or at least it feels like it. Kelsey and I got talked back into being in the bell choir we were supposed to have "quit". But how can you quit something you're not a member of? Stupidest thing ever. We volunteered to substitute for one rehearsal for this bell choir that was short 2 ringers. But then they needed us again and again which basically roped us in deeper and deeper eventually become temporally members. We said we couldn't do it anymore...especially because rehearsals were an hour and a half drive away on FRIDAY NIGHTS and we were getting sick of giving our Friday nights up...and then they eventually guilt tripped us into staying at least till their concert. Grrrrr. The director is wonderful...but she owes us. Some gas money would be nice!

Well it's that time of year again when all the couples make their Valentines Day plans and the select few who don't have anyone walk around being all bitter and saying, "I hate Valentines Day...stupid holiday...blah blah blah." I hate to be so blunt but it's really true. I don't blame them. If I didn't have someone as wonderful as Kelsey, I'd hate Valentines Day too. Last years Valentines Day was one of two of the worst experiences of my entire life. It ranks along side everything that happened after Heather and I broke up long ago involving the church and other stuff. Like that, I am forever scared from last years Valentines Day. Some scares don't heal...and this is one that even now, like the flip of a switch can trigger some of my most intense anger.

I'm not worried about any of that shit happening this year. I'm with a girl that doesn't just say she cares and loves me, but shows it through her actions. Someone from back home...who is a lot more grown up then I thought (hehe ;o)...reminded me that there's love as a noun, and love as a verb. Anyone can feel in love, say it, write it down, ect...a noun...but it's not until that extra step, extra effort put into a relationship by your actions (verb) that "weed" out the "delusional" people who think they're in love.

Wow, so an interesting turn I somehow took while writing this. Only took me nearly an hour.
