A few comforting words from my mother.

ME: Why doesn't dad want me to go on a mission all of a sudden?
MOM: You're dad may not want you to go, but I'M the one who holds the checkbook!

I love that my mother is all for me going. She says she believes it will be a good experience for me. She is also still insisting that she is going to pay for everything. I told her I at least wanted to pitch in with purchasing my clothes and what now, but she's insisting that she's going to take care of it all. I love my mother and how accepting she is of the choices I've made and am making.

She says that one of my dad's concerns is that I won't want to go back to school when I get back. Yeah, like I wouldn't go back to school even though I've seen what a life without a college degree gets you. I know better than to quit school.

I'M STILL GOING! Even if I have to sell all of my posessions on eBay.
