various favorite topics
Even though I said I was putting myself on a strict diet of no dating, I may ask someone out soon. Yes, it is a certain someone. And no, it's not who you think I'm talking about. In fact, I've never even talked about this guy. And I don't plan on it. Not yet anyway. I'm trying a new approach at dealing with attractions.
I have to pray about it. If it turns into something, then yay for me. If not, then too bad. My mission is still my primary focus. I don't really think I'll get into anything serious, unless Heavenly Father suddenly decides to change his mind. But I'm going on a mission. Yes, mission. And I've got the whole bishopric and my whole ward backing me up on this. I so cannot wait to go. It's going to be worth not having a social life as I bust my tail to finish my Associate's.
I'm giving a talk in sacrament meeting on Sunday. My first talk. *wide eyed* DUN DUN DUNNNN! I'm excited that I get to do something so cool, but I'm very very nervous. Last time I gave a 10 minute talk was in Speech class with 10 or so people in the class. My ward, has about 400-something people. That's quite an audience. At least on the upside, I'm not getting graded for it. And I'm sure Heavenly Father will bestowe many blessings on me for taking on the assignment.
I also should be getting a ward calling sometime this week! Yay!
Apparently, I impress a lot of people in my church. The get so shocked when they learn I've only been a member of the church for a year. The funny thing is, I don't feel like a convert. I feel like I've been a member my whole life.
LAST FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL! Then it's my exams and I can become an insomniac again!
What I Have Left To Finish:
- 1 writing assignment for Humanities, due Wednesday.
- 2 museum visits w/ critiques for Humanities extra credit, due at Final Just have to complete the Dali critique.
- Humanities final exam
- Spanish test on lessons 5-8, on Wednesday.
- Spanish final exam
- Complete homework folders for Algebra, due at Final
- Finish take home test, due Wednesday
- Algebra Final Exam
- 4 writing assignments for Institute credit. 1 down, 3 to go. All due Friday.
- Research and write sacrament talk. To be given Sunday.
