Well, here's some cool stuff:

I got a 102 out of 100 possible points on my math test. YAY FOR TACKLING THE EVIL BONUS PROBLEM! Other cool things? I have one more test and then my final exam left in that class. The last test is a take-home-over-the-weekend test, and on the final we can bring in a notebook page worth of notes! Yes!

I went to see my guidance counseler today and I'M DEFINITELY GRADUATING MAY 2007! Which means I can definitely leave on my mission the next month! So I get to go out into the field with an Associate's degree and no worries about whether or not I'd lose my credits while I'm gone. Also, my Associate's degree with guarantee me admission to any of Florida's public universities! Which will be good if for some odd reason one of the BYU schools don't take me.

Out of the 4 classes I've taken this semester. I have an official A in Computers, and I'm pretty sure I'll receive an A in both Spanish and Algebra. Humanities is still up in the air right now, because of temporary stupidness on tests. But I can safely report than I will pass the class with a C+ as my lowest possible. Other than the unsurity of Humanites, I AM BACK IN THE GAME!

I think I found my calling for a career. Foreign languages. Not just the language itself, but the construction of human language. Linguistics. And when I think about it, writing and language are the two things that I grasp onto really easy, and not because it's easy, but because I like it. I like it so much that I'd like to put behind the dream of becoming a doctor. Many opportunities with this degree. I think I'd like to be a dialect expert/professional translator for a hospital, law firm, or government agency. I'd also be able to advance my education and teach at a university, or possibly go to law school.

I have so many dreams I'd like to pursue, but I think this fits me pretty well compared to everything else I've ever considered. I'm jealous of people who've known what they've wanted to be since forever. Well, either I'm jealous or I just don't believe you. Pick one.

I'm sorry if my constant talk of school bores anyone. But until I'm done with school completely or I get married and have children, school is pretty much all you're going to hear about. That and church. And believe me, you're going to get alot of church talk while I'm on my mission. I'll probably have someone run my journal for me and update it with my letters and pictures, since I'll probably have little if any access to a computer. Man, I'm probably going to go through some serious computer withdrawal. Someone should come up with a Computer Detox that lasts for 18 months for people like me.

I'll stop writing my novel now and go watch old Nickelodeon game shows. Legends of the Hidden Temple rocks my world.
