Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope everyone has a great day.
I woke up today at 11, after going to bed around four....which is better than Neal, who I read went to bed at 7am...Lol! But I got up and suprised my grandpa with a Happy Jesus' Birthday hug and then I went and got the present that the next door neighbor gave me yesterday and I sat on the couch and opened it. It was a lot of earrings! They are really cute. Then we had lunch up at the center and it was all right. Its just weird, knowing that this is what Christmas is going to be like for awhile. Im not upset, Im just...adjusting. And now Im on the computer when I should be hanging out with my grandpa, but I havent been on a computer very much for over the past week, so I had to catch up.
This time home has been SO much fun. Ive hung out with ppl every day and taken SO many pics! I got a box of shoelaces from Becca (from mission trip) from Hot Topic...it had every kind of shoelace in there that the store had along with a Tshirt that read "Procrastinators Unite Tomorrow." I thought it was a great gift. haha.
I went to the 1100pm service at Meadowbrook last night and saw so many ppl from mission trip and it was so awesome. it was so much fun and it let out right about the time it turned to be Jesus' birthday so that was WAY exciting. Lots of pics and good times were had. I even let into listening to 103.7,the station that has been playing Christmas music nonstop since thanksgiving, something they do every year that annoys me till Christmas day b/c I dont understand why you need to listen to it for four weeks straight. But we listened to it last night and it was fun. Thats all. Haha.
My birthday is in four days, and Im really excited about it. Im going to a pre newyears party the 28th, so I figure Ill just party extra hard for my birthday that night. For New Years Im prolly going to spend it up at Buck n Loons b/c Nastasia has to work and I thought Id make her feel better about having to work. Plus, I dont care how we spend new years eve, as long as we spend it together! Haha. How romantic. Hahahaha.
Speaking of romantic, Ive had so many dates since Ive been back home. Im not sure why it is that when I come home I get them, and not in Austin where I am more often than Arlington, but that will be something that will continue to perplex me. oh wells.
Ok. So Im gonna go make merry christmas phone calls b/c I just cant understand why if you are not family you cant see each other on christmas. Its Jesus' birthday, everyone should be ok with everyone seeing everyone else. Thats what I think at least. (I say this b/c Im sad I cant see my bests friends today just b/c we arent "family.")
