I talked to Santa today at the mall. And he gave me a lot of good advice. There was no line to see him, seeing as it is not even THANKSGIVING yet. So I decided to see him. I wanted to see him last year and put it in my senior scrapbook, but Bobby refused to go with me to stand in line. Whore. But this time Lauren did. She was gonna take a pic with her camera so we could post it on facebook, but they have this rule where you cant do that unless you pay $20. But Santa invited us to talk to him. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas that didnt cost a million dollars, and I told him that I wanted a car so I could go home and visit my grandpa anytime I wanted. And he gave me some advice: When you want something bad enough, be open to anything making it happen. And I really took that to heart. He continued by telling me that if I really wanted to see grandpa, then I had to "show him and not snow him."--work for it basically. Work. Not technically saying work = a job, but find ways home. He then gave Lauren advice about school, and I also took that to heart, b/c we all know that I have been slacking like WHOA on school. It was crazy, I had a HEART TO HEART with Santa!!
Other interesting facts I found out about santa:
He met the real Patch Adams (that Robin Williams played in the movie) and talked to him and Patch showed him the way.
He then registered (about 30 years late) to go to UT.
He got accepted, and went on to get a degree in Social work.
Then he gave us a hug and we went on our way, more educated about life.
And they told me Santa didnt exist....
