So I was looking at my LJ and realized that I have not posted for the very full weekend I have had. So here we go.
Friday: Left work at 3:00 and picked up Liz to drive towards Indy. Liz's car is still broken so she needed a ride to get to dance. We talked all the way to Indy which is a sign that things are going pretty well since we havn't been talking much lately mostly due to our work schedules. But I dropped her off at Sam Ash and went to Long John Silver's for dinner. Mmm... deep fried goodness. :-) I then drove down to Mitchell Indiana where drama camp is. It was good to see everyone (a little weird as I will explain later). I got to spend the night which was great.
Saturday: Spent the morning at drama camp helping pack things up and going to eat with the councelors. As I said earlier the whole camp experience felt a little weird, not because I felt out of place, but because I fit right in immediately. There was a new councelor named Josh (who everyone calls Maestro) who was apparently an amazing councelor and from what i saw was a good person. But I felt like I was almost butting in on the camp experience up to that point. I felt really bad for Maestro because everyone was saying that he was the next PiGuy. *sigh* But it was still good. I am going to try really hard to be a councelor next year. I guess we will see how the summer theatre work goes. Well I got back to indy around 2 and bought a new tire and tube for my bike as well as a bike rack which will come in handy with the upcoming school year. Then I went home and helped with some yard work. My dad showed me the video recording of Much Ado and it looks amazing!!! His career as a film student was short lived but proving handy. Then I played D&D at Dave's house. Coolness ensued and I had to leave around 2 AM.
Sunday: I went to mass for the first time in 2 weeks. It was good to be back. It may seem strange to some but I miss it when i don't go. I was in Indy so I went to St. Thomas where they had a guest priest who gave what is called a dialogue homily where the congregation talks back to the priest. It was kind cool. Then I went to Kyle's for the afternoon and then came back to Muncie. I spent two hours putting all the new hardware on my bike and finished reading Caucasian Chalk Circle. Then to bed.
Monday: worked and did homework. Welcome back to the week. Fun Fun. I am sooo ready for school to start.
