My favorite holiday has already started
- Took today off from school. Not the smartest idea, but it has been a while since I slept until 4 pm.
- Spanksgiving at Jon's was tasty and delicious, and I was the happy recipient of much leftover turkey and potatoes. I rule!
- I have a new job as a banquet server at a hotel downtown. It's ok. I work with a lot of ghettotastic folk, including the dude whom I drove to a halfway house after we got out on Saturday night. He was nice, though, and now that we're buddies, I won't have to carry any heavy shit at work. Pretty sure he would cut someone for me, too.
- To make nice with myself over taking another serving job, I bought myself one pair of "I'm so sorry you have to wait tables again" shoes... trying to figure out when I'll wear them... they're cute.
- Got an incredible deal on a hott grey pinstripe suit yesterday that Sheila helped me pick out... originally over $200, I was planning on forking over about $100... oh friends, it was less than $50.
- A couple of weeks ago I wrote a motion to suppress for the prosecutor's office and forgot about it. I WON!!! I am not as dumb or incompetent as I appear.
- Wednesday night appears to be "Molly and Jon get tanked" night. Excellent.
