English Majors = too serious

Oct 16, 2007 01:47

Today I was responsible for discussion questions about Barthes' response to Balzac's text on cross-dressing castratos, and all I got was scowls and blank looks from my cartoon entitled "broad generalizations".

It is a sad day when an English major cannot appreciate a pun. It's also kind of sad when your classmates think you're insane- but that's a different kind of sad, really.

EDIT!
HERE is a very poorly drawn version of the cartoon that I drew for my questions. The wording might not be exactly right either- I'm having trouble remembering it perfectly. A lso- My scanner cut off the edge, and je suis too lazy to try again.
