i wasn't close to austin, but that doesn't negate the fact that i saw her everyday for three years. i just can't believe one of my peers was caught up in that accident. the whole thing just makes me sick. i couldn't stop checking facebook to see if she was still missing. i saw the note that she had passed away and i just broke down. SHE WAS MURDERED. how and why! my heart goes out to all the VT victims, families, and friends.

i feel old and serious for writing that paragraph.
