Hmmm...I think it's best to read a hard book all at once. Here's one sentence in Germinal:

In other news that no one else cares about, I just found my Math IC score online ... [tenseinhalingnoise] ... it was better than the 540 that I had in my dream. The real number sounds decent, but when you look at the percentile, you can't help but wonder.
