DCFC
I went to see Death Cab for Cutie this weekend in Phoenix, AZ. It was awesome! Ben Gibbard's voice is just as good in concert, as it is on the cd's. I loved it. It was an outdoor concert, so kind of cold, but neat to be under the stars. We kept on getting behind tall people for a while, so it was pissing us off. We finally found a great spot and saw everything. The opening band was Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins (or Warner twins or something) We were so pumped to see Jenny Lewis because she is the lead singer of Rilo Kiley (another fave. band!) It was just ok, though. Ah well. Plus we were really psyched for DCFC. It was interesting to be around so many people our age again.
The cool part about driving to Phoenix is all the cacti. They are soooo neat. They look like sentinals guarding the hills. We do not have the big ones in NM like they do in part of AZ, so it was pretty interesting. Also we drove through a forest and some mountains. It was a gorgeous drive. All in all a great weekend. I have really been living it up.
