Oh good, I'm rooting for you!
Last Tuesday was busy too. I was in the back- station 3. And I ran my butt off! It was great. It was nice to be around Michael at work. Kyle's super fun too! We had a great shift. After work, I ended up going to the camp and I laid out in the sun for a while. Wednesday, Stef came up to play! I love that now that I'm in the area people actually come to visit! We hung out for a bit and then headed to the camp. We kayaked down to the other lake, and we stayed there for a bit, chatting about girly things and whatnot. When we got back I laid in the sun and she swam across the lake or something, she's crazy! Haha. She got to meet Erik tho. We headed to the store and bought some stuff to make Vegan brownies and we made cuke sandwiches and played cribbage until she left for band.
I headed to momma bear's and packed up all my school stuff. Adam and I chatted... It was nice. It makes me feel better to have decided that I want to have him in my life as my friend. We shouldn't have crossed lines, but maybe I just needed that to figure things out.
I slept in on Thursday and then headed in to the school and moved in. I sweat my butt off! I met the third grade teacher across the hall from me, and she's aright. Not impressed that I don't celebrate birthdays or holidays. But, whatev.
When I got back home I watched Dawson's Creek on repeat until I fell asleep, and then I woke up and kept watching it. Friday I at least did something productive and went to visit with Sarah and Erik. I also went to the bank and fixed my online account for ATT. That was a process. Especially since I accidentally made my user id my name and spelled it wrong.
That night I decided to start compiling a calendar sized list of all the things I love about Michael.
Saturday I continued my work, continued my Dawson's marathon, and also decided to get my cable up and running. I first went to the camp and laid in the sun, and then I went to the store to get an extension cord and a remote to set up my mini tv in my room. I forgot batteries, so I stopped by the big H in Gray and got some (and a cuke, of course). I set up my tv, worked on my calendar list, and watched some tele before I passed out around 10. Naturally, I woke up a little after midnight and was up all night.
Made a ton of money on Sunday. In a Carey and Theis sandwich too... my fave!
Visited with Jenn's fam after work yesterday, and eventually Jenn. We reminisced and chatted for a while... I'm really happy we're doing well again. BFFs :)
I slept like a baby last night.
Michael was sick and out of work today, which was sad, but he had texted me last night asking me if I'd like to stop by after work.
So, I worked pretty hard, had my nice chats with Carey and Julie, and now Kyle. It was pretty fun, and everybody was happy at the end. Kyle is pretty much the same person as me, but a boy, and 6 months older. Very playful and bubbly. He's not a negative nancy like others are. Hope things work out!
Carey asked me if I had any gum today and I said no, but maybe Julie would have some. She said she'd already asked, so I suggested Kyle. She said she wouldn't ask because he's a manager and we're not supposed to have gum out front. So I said I'd ask. After she protested for like a minute, I ignored her and asked anyway.
"Hey Kyle, think I could have a piece of gum? I promise I won't have it out front!"
"Sure, smooth way of asking, by the way. Here"
[noticing the wrapper] "Is this rain flavored gum?! This is my favorite!"
"Are you being sarcastic, or are you being serious?"
"I'm serious, this is my fave!"
[Carey looks at me, I laugh]
[Kyle] "Are you laughing at me?"
"No, Carey just did something funny. Ha. Thanks for the gum."
[I smugly pass the gum off to Carebear]
GOOD DAY!
When I was finally out of work, I headed over to see Michael. He gave me a nice hug, and then we chatted for a while. It was really nice. I know a lot of things went wrong on both our sides, and it seems even now that things are still fragile, but that he loves me as much as ever. This makes me happy. I want things to work. I love when he holds me, and I can just tell that everything is going to be okay:) I gave Michael a sneak peek at my calendar project and he was kind of floored at my gesture.
After I left, I headed to the grocery store, and got some grub. Mike also called to tell me that he might be able to have a PIC position at our store, which would be great. Kyle has been watching out for him. I think it bodes well for Mike that I've been pushing a positive view of him. Or maybe even just the fact that I care for him means something. I hope things work out though. I want him to be happy with is career again.
He'll get there.
I've been hanging at my apt, listening to the new Taylor Swift song, and adding to my calendar list.
Teacher workshop tomorrow! Super pumped to get back to my REAL career of choice! :)
