Soooo, last week was good. I got new carpets in the apt last Wednesday, and FINALLY got my car back. I taught David how to drive a stick shift for a little before he gave me a ride to my mum's to drop off her car, and then we got mine back... yay! I headed to class for the evening, and then hung out with the boy after.
On Thursday, I worked in the am. I went out to Windham for Sarah's birthday, and it was fun:) We surprised her, and then all hung out. I was drilled about Michael, but ya know. I ended up hanging out with him for the night.
On Friday, I worked allll day. After my Denny's shift, I played with my rec kids. Afton and I were pals again. I looove her:) I worked on moving my stuff into the other bedroom when I got home, cause I wanted a room with new carpets, and then I started my critique. I finished my critique at Mike's before I passed out. I was SO tired.
Saturday, I hustled and had some fun in the back, even though it sucked, but the Plaid Daddy boys came in! It was fantastic. Shon was a little weird, but that was completely understandable. The other guys were great, though, and Raymond had a girl with him... she was soo cute. I tried to take a nap when I got home, but James and Mark were harping on me about how they didn't like my room change. So, yeah. I didn't get a nap before I went out to see Plaid Daddy... they were AWESOME! Sue, Carrie, and my mum came out. And, I ended up dancing with Ray's girl Elaina the whole time, because she didn't know anybody, and Carrie had to leave early 'cause she had work in the morning.
I had SO much fun. I love that band. And I love all the guys. I hung out with them for a bit after, and then headed out around 1:30. I picked up Michael, and we hung out here at the apt. I passed out on him.
I was driving to church on Sunday, when I decided to just pull over and cry at the covered bridge. I texted Stephen for a little bit, but then let it go. The missionaries met up with me at Gail's. They'd asked what was up and I told Campbell. I chilled on the porch swing for a bit, and then helped Gail with lunch. I napped, and then I picked Mike up and we played Spades with Sarah. That was fun. Moon and I lost horribly the first round, and then we kicked butt in the second.
Monday was my worst serving shift ever. I completely failed as a server. I dropped a tray. Made a ton of mistakes. Dropped a creamer that exploded everywhere. UGH. It was awful. After work, I hung out with Mike, and we went to Sue's for a bbq. We hung out with Heather, and her boy Dave, and Carrie, and G and Eric. It was fun. I played some badminton, and it was great.
Tuesday, I slept in, and did homework, and yup. I wrote my 1500 word paper just in time for class, and then realized I hadn't done the assigned reading for class... awesome.
Class was alright- we just discussed the reading. Of course. Every other class we don't but, this one, yup.
So, after class I checked out Mike's new apt, and then watched Iron Man with him before we went out with G and Eric. We went to Gritty's and then got Bill's Pizza:)
Wednesday we slept in until like 10:30, it was amazing. Then I left to do homework, and did most of it at Sarah's. It was nice to hang out, and play spades. Class went alright, but it was painfully easy and I hate it. I love Sarah though. I made cake with David last night, and then we ate it. We had to go to the grocery store twice to get random things we needed. Aha.
This morning I KICKED ASS serving. There was only three of us, and we had almost a full house, it was awesome. I sold 900 dollars worth of food, and made 170. SWEEEEEET. Teehee:)
So, the missionaries came over after work, and had dinner. I <3 Will Campbell.
I had a meeting with the rec tonight too, and that went alright. I'm excited to be able to run my own group of kids, with just like two other counselors, maybe three. We're going to have sooo much fun. And I love my age group.
Celtic's championship game round one tonight. PSYCHED!
