When I was in grade 2, I read a joke from a book that went like this:
"There were three young brothers playing in a park. As they were about to go down then slide, a genie appeared and said 'While you're going down the slide, make a wish and when you get to the bottom, your wish will be granted.' The eldest brother went down the slide and yelled 'MILK! landed in a puddle of milk. The second kid went down and yelled 'JUICE!' landed in a puddle of juice. The youngest brother went down and yelled 'WHEE!'and landed in a puddle of..."
In reading this joke, I clearly didn't put two and two together, and when I re-told the joke, I always said "and landed in a puddle of...MUD!" until someone told me that I was telling the joke wrong.
Good times.
P.S. I think I have tonsilitis.
P.P.S. I made this journal one year ago today. Happy Birthday!
