Alright.
First things first: Samantha Bellion. I really love you. I really love you for 2 reasons.
1) You called me. It was the best phone call I have ever received. That was really super.
2) You commented me. We must be connected because this is what I wore: pretty, but casual heels that I wear when I want to feel pretty, and they have polka dots on them. Not only that, but they match the POLKA DOT SHIRT I WAS WEARING! And that's what you said I should wear. Amazing.
Second things second: Joshua Sears-Gamache. It's all right that you didn't call. Pauline called right around 8:30 so everything worked out a-ok. No problemo. But thanks for feeling bad.
Alright ladies and germs, ready for the synopsis of my date?
Ok, so I said we'd meet at the Piq Niq (a restaurant that I had to choose, and I didn't want to choose, but that's ok) and it was full. So we went to a place called the Siding Cafe, which was really nice, and we ate and talked. It was fine. I kept telling Pauline afterwards it was beige. It was beige. There was steady conversation, but nothing stimulating. I didn't feel gooey.
After dinner we walked around downtown, again, beige. He is really wonderful. He held the door open for me, he pulled out my chair. It was nice. But not gooey. I'm not saying it was him. Because I know if he didn't hold the door open, etc. I would be complaining that he didn't. It wasn't him, It wasn't me. Nothing really exciting happened. You know what I mean? The poor guy he (and I'm sure, guys in general) can never win.
Now, I asked Joshua to call me at 8:30 in case the date was going bad and I could pretend that my girlfriend was having a crisis and I needed to talk to her. Joshua didn't call at 8:30 because he was busy (which was fine), and Pauline happened to call around 8:30! Kismet!
She said that she might be going to the Drum and Monkey and wanted to know if I wanted to go, and I did, because I was feeling beige.
So, after I left the Mexican, I called her and she came and picked me up and we went to the Drum.
She knew some people there, so we had steady conversation throughout the night. That was more fun than the date.
All the people she knew there were guys, and we had fun. They all looked at her boobs, I wowed them with my top-notch personality (haha), and we had fun.
So all in all, I had a really fun night. I had a free dinner, some ok conversation with the Mexican, and then had a beer (WHICH I ACTUALLY FINISHED! I NEVER FINISH A BEER)
Now people, please, for the love of God, leave me a comment. I need validation.
