(no subject)
so after doing a paper in about 20 minutes after procrastinating for 6 days and a few hours, i think I've decided on my ultimate summer trip.
seeing as Incubus in Toronto got moved to the day before Warped Tour in Philly, me natalie and george have decided that we'll be driving pretty much from Toronto after the concert home to get Sam and Ryan, then to Philly overnight to sleep in the car while changing drivers and sleep more in the parking lot before attending said Warped Tour.
that's what we've planned so far, but I think that I want to extend that awesomeness further.
seeing that I'll already be so close to it, I believe that I want to then attend the Virgin Festival in Baltimore the next two days. this is all pending my extreme exhaustion. seeing as I will have attended Incubus, slept in the car on the way home for maybe 2 hours, then drove my own car from home to Philly without sleep and attended Warped Tour, I would then have to drive to Baltimore, check in to the hotel and crash. then the festival starts at 10 AM the next day with many good acts (including Incubus) and ends at 10 that night. then back to the hotel. then another day of the festival. then sleep again. then the long haul back home on Monday to die and then get back to work on Tuesday.
all in all, I think, from recent calculation, that it will cost me approximately $1000 in all, not counting the Warped Tour ticket but overestimating for gas, food and other things. and seeing as this is in August, I will have accumulated, a decent amount of money to cover it and then some at this point from my job and can easily afford it. however, i will be giving up 4 days of work which would be (a hefty amount) in potential earnings, but it would be worth it.
