Frohe Weihnachten.
Today is Christmas eve and in the German tradition we celebrate it at night! Christmas eve night that is.And today I was out with my mom, every Christmas eve day in the past has been extremely busy with streets crowded and tons of shoppers...This year however the streets where very dead like when you drive home at 3:00 a.m. Or so. It was so strange to see no one really out in such a big city as Houston and then it dawned on me.......No one has any money to shop, most people are struggling like me. And that made me sad :( But the saddest thing I saw was a men at the bus stop broken down in sadness with all his belongs with him suitcase and garbage bags full of his belongs and I realized hes been kicked out of his apartment and on Christmas eve no less! How heartless can a corporate apartment complex be? To throw someone out in the streets on Christmas eve so I cried as I had no money or space in my own home to help this poor soul. And that made me sadder :( Things maybe very bad for me but at least I have a home even if t is back with my mom ugh! But I could be out on the streets like that poor guy, so I counted my blessing small as they might be.....The best blessing is knowing I do have some friends out there that care and love me! And that means a lot :)
