Why does the color orange not have a verb?

Like, you can redden, or whiten or blacken, or pinken, or purple, or yellow, but you can't orange. Why not????!!!!!

Wait, you can't green either! This is an injustice! It's racism! Britta would not stand for this! Or, she would, but she'd get really upset about it!

You can greenify... (Or maybe that's only in Wicked? Heh. No! It's legit.)

That's right! You can! At least, today, like if a company is going green, or greenifying. I'm not sure it's totally legit, but it's more than orange has got!

Not. Fair.

Merriam Webster recognizes greenify as verb, so that's good enough for me. :)

Nothing rhymes with orange either. :(

ETA: HOWEVER, "orange" makes me think of one of my favorite BSG fics. Sangga's Supply and Demand (which is a gen story, different take on Black Market, albeit very Kara and Lee friendship heavy)

But they're two of my faves!! I was thinking of this dilemma when watching the sunset, and I thought, "it's so nice to see the sky pinken. Or...orangeyan? Wait a minute."
