the truth about those branches
EEW i made a huge disgusting discovery today! you know everytime just after it rains, there seem to be more branches than usual on the ground/roads? actually they are not all branches, most of them in fact are EARTHWORMS! so disgusting right!
i was running today just after it stopped raining and i saw a few cyclists cycling with their eyes glued to the ground. and occasionally, they will stop and pick things from the ground. i looked closely and i realised they were actually picking up earthworms. and after that i realised that there are ALOT of earthworms wriggling on the ground. really alot. long, thin and brown things that looked like branches. EEW! and i got paranoid after that and started checking myself to see if they were on me. i dare not look on the ground after that, and put my towel above my head as i ran past trees LOL. i will think twice next time about running after a heavy rain again :(
but on a happier note, im quite proud of myself! i managed to run about 7km today in less than an hour hahaha. so my goal of running 10km in an hour is still possible! but that's quite an optimistic thinking lol. still have 3km more to go :) after my run i walked to whitesands to buy dinner. i decided to eat unhealthy chicken rice since i ran so much HAHA. and im quite amazed that i was not tempted to buy french fries from macs when i saw them! wow. ohno am i becoming a health freak? :( nope i dont think so.
