arslan senki chapter 13

Narsus pulling 'I know you know I know' strategy. I think that if it's not for him, Arslan and Daryun would certainly be dead by now. Oh sure, there will be (heavy) casualties, but there is limit to how far you can run & hide while dodging thousand soldiers, and probably frightened villagers - and that's even before putting Arslan's 'I'm a prince, I'm responsible' sense handicap.
(yes, I love him to death to be so regally honorable and maturely responsible for a mere 14 years old I've seen example of contrary in people more than twice his age - but yeah, that would makes it easy to lure him into trap.
......were Narsus weren't there to put the contra-trap. I think this is why people so feared going against him, he apparently reads minds and paranoia like a bird up above seeing fish movements in the air. Kinda makes you edgy, if you realize, you're da fish (also, the metaphor is there for some reason, I missed some bird *hint hint*)

Farangis doesn't shake off Gieve (it's kind of hard thing to do, but she goes physhic flute reading on him and decide, ah well, we had common enemy anyway). Strangely, for someone with this eased up thinking, she choose 'attack first, ask question' later to stranger (seriously Farangis, what if it's Arslan that you attacking? I love how practical you are, but uh, let's be careful a bit here)

Last but not least, my favorite prince \=o=/
Andragoras might be crappy dad, but he managed to raise a prince that sure do know what expected of him as a prince, and instead of acting bratty like 14 years old entitled to do (can we add the fact that he's novice in this whole war thing and suddenly have to facing off a general and thousand soldiers with just 5 people? Yes we can, shut up, I'm entitled to my fangirling). His resoluteness seems to moved Elam (and perhaps may be able to start seeing him differently from all those nobles). Also a plan that involves planting a 14 year old in the top of hill that is reachable, as bait, alone, while thousand cavalrymen screaming his head had a huge bounty and moving for the kills is probably nerve-wracking as it is; and not only that, this is also a plan to lure Kharlan, so they can him the important question.

Different from other colleagues and the Lusitanian soldiers that readily jeers Kharlan as traitor, Arslan still somehow believes that there is exist *underlying* important motive underlying his traitorous action and attempt to discuss this.

And myself knowing the spoiler, cannot like Kharlan's reaction better. isn't it interesting that he keeps calling Arslan as Andragoras's son? and call himself as monstrous traitor? It's like 'hey, you're totally legit man' just blame your stupid dad and traitorous me for this

But that doesn't enough excuse to kill my favorite prince, so Daryun, we leave it in your capable hands or not, since he caught you by surprise, and ended up suicide himself. Ah well, we'll be in tune for next month
