doesn't have this scanslated yet, but since we have novel translation, can pretty much guessed what they're talking about.
from novel translation here, we've been informed about Queen Tahmineh's bewitching beauty that already have (dead) body count of at least 3 people before (and not counting several people that alive and burned as result, oops spoiler). She's like Helen of Troy, only without the 'thousand ships launched' part and more like, um, 'shipped to whomever victorious' part - so, in short, we kinda took a pity on her and her beauty. well, she's cold to Arslan, but considering she has hard life and treated like an object, perhaps the cold and uncaring attitude is explainable. Perhaps. well, it's not like the anime give much explanation on her personality okay? so let's leave it at it is.... and to maintain your regal demeanor (eh somewhat), while the king of enemies that invade and slaughtering your home is ogling you, is well, yeah....that (in all honesty, Tahmineh probably thinking 'not this again....' though)

If my eyes doesn't deceived me, then there's a familiar face at the end of chapter. If it's really Ester who came to freed his fellow Lusitanian that captured 3 years ago, then kudos to her to acting so chivalrious and caring (or whatever). If it's her who screamed so eagerly approvingly on Jon Bodan (the crazy priest) torture live show earlier, then you know what I've said, Arslan dear - mommy doesn't approve this fanatical unstable hypocrite zealot....dammit! why can't you have another better (like Alfreed? where's my Alfreed and henpecking Narsus on the way??? that's in ep2, we're still in ep 1 oh yeah, right...
Also, I'm protesting that in the anime, Ester is clumsy, bumbling, knight wannabe. While in this manga, she's pretty much a dangerous one (and managed to get Arslan plunged into several stories down below. twice. Arslan, you know I don't approve of a girl who endanger you so carelessly on...ah heck it! I know where this is going, and I'm accusing Arakawa sensei to upped Ester's usefulness and capability so we all can say, 'hey! you know, I think that's a good matc.." no I won't say that (◣_◢) you won't ever heard me say that Σ(▼□▼メ) nuh-uh you won't (⋋▂⋌)
(okay, let's stop with the disapproving emoticon, I can't find an irate mother-in-law emoji anyway)
We still have Farangis next-in-line to appear, but I kinda wanting to see Alfreed (if only to make Narsus being uncomfortable =P) and I always wanting to see Lajendra because he's hilarious. And Jaswont, because he had tiger and following Arslan around like a puppy (I like puppies, I can't help it)
also, vol 1 had Arslan and Azrael in front of cover, damn, that's like a 2 bird with 1 stone. Tempted to buy (does it have omake like in FMA?), but Kinokuniya doesn't have it in stock
