Let's all do the HAPPY DANCE!!!!
My aides time with me is very limited. My supervisor came to observe my class (my aide) yesterday and was shocked at what she saw. She very quickly noticed that he was doing everything that I had asked him not to do and then some. Needless to say she has some major concerns as to his "fit" into my classroom. Later in the day I received a phone call from my supervisor asking if I'd like to have another aide. She told me that one of the special education aides expressed interest in working with my classroom and she'd like to move her. She and I get along great and she knows how to interact with my boys appropriately. In fact she knows some of them from the other programs that they have been in.
It was all I could do to contain myself. I wanted to do the happy dance right then and there, but he was in the room as well as the rest of my class so had to contain myself until after school. Hopefully the move will happen by Monday, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not the train...
