Armor Update

Ahhh yes... I have been using the lame excuse of "I'm sick" to do not much of anything simply because I don't feel like doing much of anything.  After 3+ weeks of tissues, meds and sleepless nights I have resigned to the fact that I am just going to be sick but I'm orneryer than the illness and time to get my dead rear moving.

Shield.  No real movement here.  I contacted someone to redesign the artwork.  Bugged them a couple of times but I don't want to seem like a pest so I will use what I have here on LJ.  Things to be done:
  1. Add a basket.  I have one around here somewhere or I will just go and buy another one as they are fairly inexpensive.
  2. Glue painters cloth on
  3. Burnish
  4. Jesso painters cloth
  5. Paint device
Lamellar  I have the plates in hand
  1. Acid dip the plates (6-8 hours end to end)
  2. Mock up the shoulder / neck hole with inexpensive fabric
  3. After the pattern is right cut out in leather - leather purchased
  4. Order or pick up 550 parachute cord from an Army surplus store
  5. String plates and leather shoulder harness

Legs:
  1. Research or create a pattern for leather uppers
  2. Cut out pattern
  3. Design a way to hang the uppers
Gads... I really am a project manager in my day job.  :)  Time to get on it says I.
