Almost summer
hey i just got home and thought id give you a recap of whats been going on. im not sure when i wrote last.. So last week was spring break. Thats cool. We went down to kitty hawk and stayed with a bunch of family. My Oma rented the house. my aunt and all of my cousins actually stayed. it was nice but it was still cold because it was april. Duh! so we couldnt swim or lay out or do anything really. we found some teen clubs and spots but my mom wouldnt let us go. how stupid is that? but yea my cousins got to go out at night but we didnt. So the parents dragged us around to the tourists spots like the stupid lighthouse. get this: we drove an hour and a half to the lighthouse, but none of the parents wanted to climb to the top. i really dont understand the point. so i climbed it just so that i wouldnt feel like id wasted a whole day. everything i suggested to do, they just pushed away and made excuses. i played poker about a hundred times, and rummy twice that. i met a couple of my cousins friends. nice guys. but then everyone wanted to go off and get wasted. so we mostly passed the time by whatching reruns of the osbournes. but tanta came from richmond with my moms cousin and baby. hes so cute. his name is jacob. he can speak some german because tanta teaches it to him, and hes only 2! but every night we just walked up the beach and back down the road. pretty soon the kids started leaving. Me caitlin and sarah just came back home on tuesday because we really didnt have anything left to do. We chilled at home, went shopping and hung out with a few friends. we barrowed the ring and watched it. nothing incredibly interesting. me and cait went to the beach the day before school started. i wanted a little tan and it takes me forever to brown. so i used a tan in a bottle. it didnt turn out too bad, but im still light. I started taking behind the wheel the day we came back from spring break. i as so nervous. i really didnt want to screw anything up. im not the best driver so im still scared about the final exam on tuesday. but yea my teacher is the spawn of satan and it doesnt really help to ease the nervousness. He doesnt tell us to do anything. like he'll only say when to turn. and thats it. ill ask if i should switch lanes or whatever and hes just like "you're the driver." it bugs the crap outta me. bu ti get it that he wants us to take driving seriously, and i do. but i really dont think its cool that i have a D in there in i havent done anything seriously wrong. but thats life i guess. the other day there was a dog on the range and we didnt switch partners until there was only 5 minutes of class left. its just stupid. thank god there are only two more days. my dance recital is the 16th i think. it should be nice. hopefully a little better than last years. all we did was grapevine left, grapevine right back and over and over. then mayeb add a turn in here or something but it was dumb. but at least this year we have two dances. one is all weird like interpretive dance or something and the other kinda lookes like the kids from charlie brown when they dance in the christmas play. and the costumes kinda suck because they are about 5 hundred years old and all torn and itchy. yea so this weekend turned out to be kinda nice. i made plans with a friend to hang out tonight but that feel through so amber invited us to go bowling. me and cait were shopping today and then jenny called and met us up at tj maxx. kris and robert were with her. so then we went to mcdonalds. just to talk and catch up. i really hadnt hung out with them in months. after that we went to see jenny and kris's house. its cute and kinda weird to know my friends are living on there own. i cant wait until i can move out. so then we were supposed to go to Oma's for dinner to meet some german relatives. but then we called and i think there were already eating and they were having seafood anyways. so i just ate some microwave garbage and then we left to go bowling. that was pretty fun, but i dont think i ever broke a hundred. I won a prise though because i got a strike with a red front pin. then we all went back to josh's house to watch some scarey movie. pretty entertaining i guess. im still not very tired so im just writing in here. i got on to check my mail. but youd think there would be more people on at 2 n the morning. oh well im going to go try to sleep now. peace
