You Don't Face Life All Alone
JOHN 14:18 Barclay
18 I will not leave you to face life all alone. I am coming to you.
Being alone -- with no help -- is a horrible feeling. One the devil would love for you to believe is your lot.
You are NOT alone! Jesus promised!
When you feel alone, desolate, and helpless -- remember the promises of Jesus.
HEBREWS 13:5 NIV
5 . . . God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Your feelings are not the true test of reality. God cannot lie. He is with you now, whether you feel like it, or whether it looks like it, or not.
Since God is always with you, it would be rude to always ignore Him. So call on Him and discuss things with Him. Let God be your friend. That's His plan.
JOHN 14: 1-4 NIV
1 Do not let your hearts be troubled; Trust in God; trust also in me
2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I'm going there to prepare a place for you
3 And if i go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am
4 You know the way to the place where I am going
Guard your heart, guard your mind, do not let the Devil take control over your thoughts and speech.
These past few days were nothing short of people telling me they got interviews, them going overseas, them getting their acceptance letters. Alas i dont have any. It is also when i failed to call onto the Lord, to quieten myself to hear Him speak. I'm guilty of that.
But God chose to come back for me.
And He told me that i must continue to Trust him.
Each and every one of us is a sinner, but God prepared a room, a place to house every single lost souls.
For me, John 14: 2-3 also hit home, to me 'place' also means a university placing, or even some other placings elsewhere.
God will make a way, where there seems to be no way. Amen!
