Saturday Morning - Reserve

Andros had been out for his usual morning run, completely unaware of anything unusual that might be happening.

Just as he was nearing finishing his lap at the end of the reserve, he slowed down and came to a stop when he heard what sounded like a small child calling out "dad!"

"Dad!" Tahlia cried again, "dad!" it was her father, even if he looked a bit younger than what she was used to. She raced up to him and threw her arms around his waist in a tight hug.

"Uh...hello?" he said, it was slowly dawning on him that what was going on was the same thing that happened around this time last year.

"Dad! It's me Tahlia!" she said, "don't you remember?"

"Er, I'm having a little memory trouble right now," he lied, "could you tell me your name and age again?"

"I'm Tahlia," Tahlia replied with a beaming smile, "Tahlia Lynn Hammond and I'm 8,"

"Is your mother an Ashley Hammond by any chance?" Andros asked, he recognized the surname from the two kids who had shown up last year.

"Of course it is dad," Tahlia said, "you're being silly, did Uncle Zhane put you up to this?"

Andros gave a smile, "yes, I am," he said, "and no Uncle Zhane didn't put me up to this...do you know how you came here at Fandom?"

Tahlia nodded, "there was a portal," she said, "I was playing in the park with Caleb and then the next thing I know I was here,"

"Caleb?" he asked slowly.

"My baby brother, he's 5," she said and then paused, "dad I'm hungry can I get something to eat?"

"Sure," he said and extended his hand for Tahlia to take, which she did, "I'll take you to the common room there's bound to be something there,"
