The Preserve - Saturday Afternoon
Andros had gone out for his usual run, making his way through the preserve as he did so, he had heard about the other island and the trouble that some people had run into but since it had been two days and he hadn't run into one who was particularly out to get him Andros hadn't been expecting anything to happen that afternoon.
As if on cue that was when he noticed an orange brown blur out of the corner of his eye and he slowed down, he thought maybe he had just imagined it but then there was the sound of laughter that followed and Darkonda, not that he knew who he was right then, started coming towards him.

Andros froze when he saw the Bounty Hunter, he had a nagging feeling that there was something familiar about him but he couldn't place it, "who are you?" he asked, falling into a fighting stance.

"Just a stranger passing through," Darkonda cackled, moving towards Andros with his sword casually resting against his shoulder, "well maybe not a stranger to you,"

"What are you talking about?" Andros raised his fists, steadying himself in case Darkonda was going to attack.

""We met a long time ago, you and me," Darkonda sneered, "I've been told that you don't remember me," he raised his sword so that he could strike Andros, "Darkonda's my name and evil's my game,"

Andros dodged the blow and aimed a kick at Darkonda. He couldn't remember how he had met Darkonda, if that was true, but he wasn't going to let that stop him.
"Let's Rocket!" he called, punching in the code that he needed in his morpher, a second later he was clad in his Red Astro Ranger suit.

"Now where're getting somewhere," Darkonda cackled.

"What are you doing here?" Andros demanded to know, taking his blaster out and aiming it at the Bounty Hunter.

"What do you think Red Ranger?" Darkonda sneered, circling Andros menacingly with his sword aimed as he prepared to strike, "I'm going to enjoy this," he cackled, "Dark Spectre will reward me well for destroying one of the rangers,"

"I'm afraid Dark Spectre is going to be disappointed," Andros retorted, aiming his blaster at Darkonda, as he also circled the Bounty Hunter.

"Don't make me laugh," Darkonda then wasted no time in moving in as fast as he could, striking Andros across his chest with his sword, he then repeated the motion before Andros had time to fight back the blow.

"Andros let out a startled cry as the force of the blow knocked him heavily to the ground, his blaster fell a few feet away from him.

"Give up red ranger," Darkonda sneered, readying his sword to strike Andros before he had the chance to get back up.

"Never," Andros panted trying to reach out for his fallen blaster with his telekinesis, if he could just reach it he could then blast Darkonda.

"Your Call," Darkonda then went to bring his sword down on the struggling Red Ranger, with as much force as he was capable of providing.

"Spiral Saber!" Andros cried from where he was still lying on the ground, he raised his saber so that when Darkonda struck, his sword would collide with his own weapon.

The combined forces of the two weapons was enough to send Darkonda staggering backwards, "nice trick," he growled.

"I've got plenty more of them," Andros shot back, aiming his weapon, "you're going down Darkonda," with that he ran as fast as he could towards the Bounty Hunter and aimed to strike his weapon against him.

As the Saber went to collide against Darkonda, he was able to bring up his own sword, stopping the impact, "not today," he kept his grip, the two weapons remaining locked against each other for several seconds.

Andros struggled, forcing as much strength as he could to break the deadlock. Hoping that this would weaken Darkonda's hold.

It worked, the extra strength forced Darkonda to stumble back again. Undeterred he then moved as fast as he could, striking Andros several times before the red ranger would be able to do anything to stop him.

"Ugh," Andros groaned from the successive blasts, he collapsed to the ground where he lay as he tried to get enough strength back so that he could stand up.

Darkonda cackled as he moved closer to the fallen ranger, "this is your end Red Ranger," he sneered, placing his foot down on Andros' chest preventing him from being able to get up.

Andros tried in vain to get Darkonda's foot off so that he could get up but to no avail, he didn't have the strength right then ... he eyed his fallen blaster that was near his spiral saber, stretching out he was able to weakly call his blaster to him with his telekinesis.

"What...?" Darkonda had forgotten about Andros' telekinesis in his victory, "no!"

This was the distraction that Andros needed, once he had his blaster firmly in his hand he fired directly at Darkonda.

"AUGH!" Darkonda screamed in agony as the force of the blast sent him flying away from Andros, resulting him in landing heavily on the ground.

Now that he was able to get back up, Andros used his telekinesis to call his fallen spiral saber, with both weapons he launched a double attack. First using his spiral saber and then his blaster.

Darkonda groaned from where he was on the ground, the double attack left him more weakened than he had expected. It had taken him more effort than should have been needed to get on his knees.

"Give it up Darkonda," Andros warned, aiming both weapons towards the fallen Bounty Hunter.

Darkonda knew he didn't have a chance right then, rather than give up one of his lives he forced himself to his feet, glaring at Andros, "this is not over Red Ranger," he roared before he disappeared into thin air.

"I don't doubt it Darkonda," Andros said to the space where Darkonda had been moments before, "I don't doubt it," he knew that it wouldn't be long before he ran into Darkonda again.
