I'm a little tardy with this, but there may be one person on my friends list who still hasn't heard, so here are some statements on the latest LJ Drama.

I didn't actually know about that one until I saw yesterday's commit which removed it. Code was added to censor the list of popular interests on March 6th (which means it predates the Basic Account controversy) and is now gone. The list of filtered interests may or may not have changed over the weekend - it's hard to be sure who's telling the truth here.
